40 years ago, when Algarve was only a place for a few privileged, Prainha Village starts to grow near Alvor, with the bay of Lagos and Alvor on the horizon and in the natural and magnificent landscape. Perfectly integrated in the environment surrounding and occupying an area of 35 hectares, this project stood out since early by the esthetical consistency and quality and difference when compared to the existing supply at the time.

The quality and good taste evident in the units of accommodation and range of facilities available contributed to that, quickly, this project become a challenge of success, not only with our guests but also for owners who invested here and continue most of them, having homes in Prainha and choosing this as their favorite holiday destination

Aware of the need to meet growing demand and listen to new business opportunities, we opened at the beginning of the 90s, Prainha Clube Tourist Apartments ****, (also a system of horizontal property with owners) that has been also an example of success and satisfaction.

Over the years, several challenges were emerging, giving us knowledge and experience to become always more and better in what we do. The eternal search for the maximum satisfaction of our guests and parallel welfare and realizing of the benefits of the owners is a daily challenge that, so many years later, makes us one of the hotel management companies with more experience in this specific type of management.

This experience gave us confidence and know-how for launching new projects and in 2003 we expande our business by starting the operation of Touristic Apartments Marina Park ***, now designated Vitasol Park, in Lagos, with 30 rooms hired in the first year of activity and about 200 today, reflecting the initial resistance of the owners and visible success of our operation.

In the market for some time, PrainhaMar, SA has seen several changes in the market, usual in areas of action as volatile as Tourism, keeping however firm, and being already a strong and recognized name behind and beyond borders. This fact would be impossible without the dedicated contribution of a team marked by professionalism and union in pursuit of goals.
